How the dance the boutique came into being?

Why is the boutique open? Before the boutique was opened people used to pay compliments, and ask for recommendations and referrals on where to go to buy the things. We sent to the people and places we supported by shopping there for ourselves! When they returned they would share their experience, ending with "it's too far", "I didn't like the salesperson", "Can you go pick it up for me?" , "Can I just buy it from you"... years went by like this with many times customers literally were buying the clothes off our backs! One year as a business anniversary gift, a generous patron of the studio gifted us a Feng shui consultation and that person asked us "WHY aren't you selling all the things?". After explaining "it wasn't our core business, we didn't want to detract from the vendors we personally bought from" etc. we LISTENED to the universe persistently knocking on our door, and the boutique came into being! It's been a great honor to help our students find clothing to enhance their dance and make them look and feel beautiful and confident and elegant in their new hobby. It's been a great resource to help them consign their high-end gowns and new shoes that didn't fit and can't be returned.
