Troy and Kathy both provide a warm welcoming atmosphere regardless of your dance ability level. While we are far from being expert level dancers, we have learned a lot from them and are confident to dance many different dance styles. For several years we took only private lessons but recently decided to also try group classes. The classes, both private and group are both educational and fun. Sometimes you have a favorite routine, one that you have fantastic memories of and would enjoy performing again. That was the case for Gail who closed the recent show with her Encore performance but this time as a GOLD dancer. Sometimes a special person enters your life, and that's waht happend when Marilyn was referred to Dance Forever Dance Studio about 14 years ago. I guess we could say it was love at first sight. And after over a decade of dancing on our floors, she is moving out of state to be nearer to gradbabies. We can't blame her but we sure will miss her gentle smile and caring ways. Often times new dancers listen to their favorite music uncertain about the style of dance that would be most apporpriate. At Dance Forever Dance Studio we love this type of assignment! Tim chose an instrumental piece from a favorite movie soundtrack. Our coach was taked with taking our ideas and turning them into a story with unfolding drama. What started out with an intriguing 2 hand hold open facing connection moved into a closed position and then into a shadow position with twist and turns! It was a long time coming for the Rumba performance Pam signed on for. She excitedly got started on her choreography, got to work with a top guest coach, but then fractured her foot in several places and had to put her dancing on hold while she was healing. To keep skills from fading, she trained by zoom working on arm styling, body isolations which she could do seated, and progressed to walk thrughs of her choreography in her home until she was cleared to drive again.
